Entering the room

• Please, enter quietly.
• Sit in your assigned seat ready to work.
• Do Bell-Ringer assignment on your technology notebook.

If you are tardy

• Please, enter quietly.
• Hand in your ADMIT to the teacher and wait until it is signed and recorded in the gradebook.
• Sit in your assigned seat, take out your materials and begin the assignment.

Getting your attention

• Teacher will ring a bell and wait for everybody to be quiet. You will stop the activity you are doing, turn to face the teacher and get ready for instruction.

Paper heading

• If you are submitting papers online add name, grade, period and title to all assignments.
• Place it on top right side of paper on all homework and assignments.

After an absence

·       You are responsible for making-up the missing work.

·       Check Schoology and Mrs. Rengifo's website http://mili.myclassupdates.com/

·       Retrieve or print any handout and/or ask the teacher, remember it is your responsibility to ask for work if you were absent.

·       Make up classwork and turn it in as soon as possible.

Handing in Homework, Extra-credit assignments or papers

• Put it on top of your table as soon as you come into class. The teacher (or designee) will walk around and collect it. Engineering notebooks and material related to teamwork should remain in your box or in the designated location.

If you are working in a technology project

·        Bring your personal safety glasses or borrow one from the class set.

·        Wear your safety glasses.

If you finish early...                            

• work on unfinished assignments, take charge of the engineering notebook.
• start homework.
• read and complete reading logs.

Classroom discussions

• Raise your hand and wait to be allowed to participate.
• Make all questions and comments relevant to current discussion.
• If your question is off topic, write it down on your engineering notebook and ask later.

Moving around the room/restroom breaks/ drinking water

• Raise your hand and wait in silence.
• If you get a pass to leave the class, you must give it back. Do not keep it.

Going to Lunch (if applicable)

• Students will be instructed when and where to line up.
• You will form one straight line (one student behind the other).
• After lunch, teacher will pick you up.
• Walk back following the same procedures.
• If teacher allows the class to go to the restroom before going back to class, always observe the same procedures: straight line and one behind the other.

Class Dismissal

• Wait until teacher officially dismisses the class. Teacher or designee will open the door for the class to leave.
• Start packing group and personal belongings when you are instructed to do so.
